WHAT IS PAYMO™

Paymo is the leading mobile payment network for online merchants - allowing consumers anywhere in the world to buy online and pay with their mobile phone. 70% of the world's online population has no credit card - Paymo opens the door to 3+billion new consumers for your business.

HOW DO I START ACCEPTING PAYMO ON MY WEBSITE ?

Paymo is a payment system analogous to Visa and MasterCard and is made available to Merchants only via Resellers. To get started and accept Paymo as a payment method on your website you can either sign up directly on the Paymo website and select a Paymo Reseller as part of that process (click here) or choose one of our approved Paymo Resellers and sign-up directly on their website.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS ?

There are no upfront costs to get started with Paymo. Currently there are also no monthly charges - your Paymo Reseller will simply charge you a fee for each completed transaction. Typically the transaction fee will be 10% of the Paymo Network Outpayment. Discounts are available from your Paymo Reseller for merchants with high monthly transactions volumes.

HOW DO I GET PAID ?

Your Paymo Reseller will typically pay you monthly by bank transfer or, for smaller merchants, by PayPal. Note that minimum payment limits and charges may apply.

WHEN DO I GET PAID ?

The timing of outpayments will differ depending on the country where the customer is based. Mobile operator payments are received between 1 month and 6 months after the date of the relevant Paymo transaction. Although the timings for when payments are made by mobile operators are never exact, Paymo Reseller outpayments to merchants are typically made within 10 days after receiving mobile operator payments for each country.

DOES PAYMO WORK IN EVERY COUNTRY ?

Paymo is currently available in 25 countries and can be used by over 500 million mobile phone users. Additional markets are constantly being added - we will be live in over 100 countries by the end of 2008.

HOW FAST CAN I GET GOING AS A MERCHANT ?

Accepting Paymo is easy and takes just a few minutes. You can sign-up directly on this site and choose your Paymo Reseller as part of that process. Once you are approved you can log-in to your Paymo Merchant Account, configure your service and download a simple piece of html script to add a Paymo button to your website.
